I haven’t done a design in ages and hands seem to be the 'thing' these days so here’s my offering...
Im still pretty crap with a tablet and I’m trying to find a 'style', but practice makes perfect!
Im still not sure about the placement of the hand so any ideas would be very welcome...

How do you go about doing that line-y effect on the watercolor (assuming it’s not a gomedia "abstract halftone")?

Pretty "godmachinesque" which means lots of love from the emptees community... It lacks the trippy colours, though... Awesome work, btw ;)

Yeah, it is an 'abstract halftone', ive been wondering how they did that myself...
Still trying to work on my linework and I agree with ez-kun, the flesh is a bit weird...

I really like this man, I especially like the text cut-out from the background look. The hand is great, awesome detail, I would mess around with the positioning though, and the rotation - it’s a littler er.. 'fingerbang' esque at the moment. The other thing i’d say is, given the intense realism of the hand, the little cartoon bone sticking out of the wrist doesn’t seem in keeping with the illy.. maybe try go with something more realistic and sick.
Good job though man, it’s killer.

yeah, the end of the hand really bugs me! haha, i didn’t think that the fingers resembled 'that'... hahahaha, i shall rotate it...
