you’re lucky that’s weezy, and that I’m a fan of weezy... otherwise this would have just been a well detailed portrait of anybody on a shirt. do something crazy... give weezy blue skin and have him on a pogo stick bouncing off some thick broad’s ass... be creative. using weezy in silly situations can make an epic tee.... ohhhh, shit! i have an idea.
The design was all the clients idea, they were very specific about how Wayne was to be posed, the colors used and the details. Apparently they knew what they were doing, as the shirt sold out in less than a week and just started it’s second print a couple days ago. MindRite used an artist from Wayne’s record label to pose in the shirt for marketing, it would appear the powers that be are "cool" with this design.
If I had total control of the design, I would’ve added a few design accents behind Wayne, just to flush out the composition.
