This is my take on the "time" theme.
Lunchtime for a zombie consists of a "Hand and Cheese" sandwich and a large slice of "Guava-Brainy" pie.

my favourite color is blue. so, I love the first colored version, but the second one has an amazing 'pop-vintage' feeling:]
drewbarontini said 11 months ago
It looks great colored!
What program did you do the linework in, or is it hand inked?
Setup85 said 11 months ago
yum
herky said 11 months ago
Thanks for the support everyone.
Godmachine- I hope the dream was a pleasant one. My dream is that it somehow gets printed or sold.
drewB- I used Photoshop and a Wacom for the line work. Scanned my penciled sketch, further darkened the lines (adjusting the levels), then ran an action script (actions window). This automatically separated the line work onto its own separate layer with a transparent background. I got the action script over at the Threadless blog (courtesy of a great artist there "stickymike").
Then I began the tedious process of tracing over the artwork with the brush tool and eraser tool with my wacom pen to further smooth out/refine the lines.
Im not really a Photoshop person so I know theres an easier process than this. I checked out the "resources" section on emptees (jimiyos tutorials) and got some nice Photoshop tips from artists (nate gonz, Godmachine, heavyprints) here on the blogs that Ill use in the future.
Original sketch (scaled down for this blog): with elements deleted (head w/straw) and added (slice of pie, left hand w/fork) drawn in later with wacom in Photoshop.
