Let me explain how I went about making this;
I sketched this out in my sketchbook, then went over it with pens of different sizes. Then I made a watercolor wash with some india ink and water on bristol for the background. I then scanned both of the images and clean them up in photoshop. I took the illustration into Cocoapotrace to vectorize it and clean it up even further, and then painted it all in Painter X. Afterwards, I took it into photoshop and threw the wash behind it to give the design some depth, and tweaked it a little with other water color brushes.

dude this is rad and I like the texture in the background. Brings it altogether. The tear is a bit weird cos it´s so long. Maybe a boogy like that wouls be ok but as a tear I think its too long. Sick idea and concept tho.
