I actually entered this in the Cornelius Loves Threadless competition over the summer, and it was ejected after one day due to a super-low score of 1.45.
It all worked out for the best, though, because this ended up being one of my favorite shirts, and one of the Threadless Jakes bought one from me.

A low threadless score is a quality certificate for really good artwork, haha…;) The threadless guys themselves seem to have good taste in buying your shirts and collaborating with cool musicians like Cornelius.
Love your work, I have a link to your site on my own site!

oh man, I’m bummed I haven’t seen your work until now – it’s great! I’ll be posting a link to yours soon…thanks!
and yeah, the Threadless kids definitely have very clear ideas about what they want and won’t allow; some people think that I got such a low score because of my use of black lines (which is a personal style issue that I’m not going to change).
Actually, the first night I wore this shirt out, a guy I’d just met said “wow, that shirt’s really cool…it should be on Threadless!”

hey guys! I’ve been getting requests for a new colorway for this – any thoughts?

thanks – me too! I feel like a lot of dudes are hesitant to rock lemon yellow for some reason, and this is one of my favorite pieces, so I wanna expand to another colorway. Also, recently, one of my bigger retailers told me straight up that the shirt is awesome, but that dudes don’t like lemon yellow, so if I do another colorway, I know I can move them through her at least…
