I don’t know who The Maine are or what their aesthetics are but you might try some things like substituting the 'i' in Maine with the neck of the guitar, or maybe have the head stock thing of the guitar, where the tuning pegs should be, have it take up the front of the shirt and use the band name as the guitar brand logo.
Cajun Metal has some really good ideas attached to it. I’d explore your options a bit more. Think about other things that represent the band beyond their instruments. Keep it up!
i like cajun’s idea of making MAINE the logo of the guitar.
my suggestion would be taking the MAINE logo and putting it on the body of the guitar, and making the entire design bigger on the tshirt.
maybe the guitar is life sized? maybe the guitar has straps and looks like its sitting around the person’s neck?
if u are set with the way things are now, i would def. suggest adding some sort of texture background as jeffk has suggested.

a little to plain but the right idea. try adding a little splatter or stripes like their cd.other then that its pretty cool veddy classy
