    yeah, these guys are dull colored bottom feeders in real life so i wasnt sure about where to go colorwise I was even toying with the idea of glow ink... ill post some different colorways soon... thanks for the input tho!

    its an angler fish, it should have a hook on the end of that thing, and be trying to catch itself!

    Visually I like the glow one better but I think it takes away from your idea. The picnic basket looks less like a picnic basket, and your idea doesn’t communicate as well.

    Maybe you try an interesting position. Like have the picnic basket be in the front on the side and when you look at the back with the fish you get it.

    Just because an angler fish is dull doesn’t mean you have to make it dull. We’re artists we can use our artistic license and to whatever we want like throw in hot pink and a neon green. Don’t let realism stand in your way of a cool design.

    Thanks for all the valuable insight bro, I really appreciate it! I understand that I as the designs have the ultimate freedom when it comes to color and composition but I thought the "dull" or muted colors would work best in contrast with the glow ( if that effect was even possible ) but I def like where your coming from with the placement Ideas... its another aspect im playin with but I wanted to post this so I could get some CC.. and you came with it! thank you!

    Thanks Jayna! yeah man JK has some great insight, its critiques like that that keep me posting here... And yeah my wife wasnt a fan of the swirly either I was just playin around with bg elements in an attempt to better convey the underwater vibe... but i may have to nix it...heck 2 out of 2 ladies disapprove! its gotta mean somthing! lol
