Koi - 1st draft

A rough and simple logo design for local Westfield, MA band Koi.

I wanted to try my hand at something epic but I need to have these shirts printed before their first big gig on the 13th. Considering they will be playing the main stage at Six Flags amusement park I should really try to push something rad out.. just for exposures sake. There will be a 2k+ crowd.

I wish they werent opposed the idea of traditional japanese koi fish imagery : |

HI. I’m mike btw, Im an 18 yr old freshman graphic art major as of last week who runs a small 4 color press in his friends basement. I think this website and the community within it is sincerely rad and hope to become more involved in as time goes by.

:edit: ok.. so still a work in progress, the clouds need to be completed or taken out. I was thinking some bamboo/lily pad elements. Idears?
