Turtle vs Hare

drew this in flash for a band from the chicago suburbs.

i printed them as well and they looked pretty good.

their logo was a turtle with a parachute and they wanted me to work off that so i did a play on the whole turtle vs hare fable.

i need to stop doing shirts on this color.

Does this mean that the turtle is going down, and the hare is going up? Are they just crossing paths? What happens next? When the hare gets too high up, do his balloons pop? When he falls, will he die when he hits the ground? Is the turtle’s parachute large enough to keep him from falling at a speed higher than 14 miles per hour – the “safety” speed to hit the ground running? Can his little legs move fast enough to run the required 14 miles per hour set forth by the safety speed? So, does the hare die, or what?
