I did this as an excercise in loosening up a while ago, I tend to be a bit stiff when I draw, so I often do bits for fun and practice and try to remember that its all fun, try different pen settings etc. Its a return to my, what Jimiyo.com calls 'classic GM' styles. Also had some weathered brushes that Jimmy Heartcore himself had made and wanted to try them out. Whitechapel snapped this up. these guys are amazing- all the photos of them were with lumberjack shirts and beers in thier hands, keychain wallets and truckers hats...it was like home. they wanted something as crazy as them. This is what i drewed for them in January. I am slowly posting all old stuff. Interesting story: it was sent to a uk printers and they sent an email to my client saying that where ther darker colours were there was only black dots and that this was 'wrong' and that they wanted them to fork out for 6 col's instead of 3. They printed a massive 12 inches across! for less amount of money they could have got 16 inches across and someone who knew what halftones were. go usa guys- its a buyers market and you get good quality!
