Hey everyone I am a graphic designer who loves tees. This is my first submission on emptees so I am a bit nervous. This a new tee for a new line I am putting together. I would Love some feedback on what you think of my design. 92nd is the street i grew up on and hip-hop was the cornerstone for which my generation connected on so many different levels. The pic was taken by me in my hometown of Cleveland and I used some super koo splatter paint brushes by Go media,to get my spray paint texture. The guys at Go Media are the best I frequent their site a lot and learn a lot from them, Thanks guys. Check it out and let me know what you think. I know it's a simple design but that was intentional, I would like feedback good or bad. I am particularly interested in how the tee makes hip-hop fans feel when they see it. A rough and simple logo design for local Westfield, MA band Koi. http://www.myspace.com/koiband I wanted to try my hand at something epic but I need to have these shirts printed before their first big gig on the 13th. Considering they will be playing the main stage at Six Flags amusement park I should really try to push something rad out.. just for exposures sake. There will be a 2k+ crowd. I wish they werent opposed the idea of traditional japanese koi fish imagery : | HI. I'm mike btw, Im an 18 yr old freshman graphic art major as of last week who runs a small 4 color press in his friends basement. I think this website and the community within it is sincerely rad and hope to become more involved in as time goes by. :edit: ok.. so still a work in progress, the clouds need to be completed or taken out. So this design started out as a poster project that was showcasing a brush library that I had contributed to. After a while... I decided to play with it a little. A little turned into a lot. And I'm left with this to submit. I named it <b>Banana Split Wig</b> because splittin' wigs a very trill term. And if every wig that got split revealed hidden magical banana split surprises... I just think that would be epic as fuck. Hope you guys dig. I made this graphic for a flyer for my band over the summer. I've thought about selling it as a tee for awhile now. Strangely, the Indians are dead to me in a way since the name of the stadium is now "Progressive Field" now that the naming rights have been sold. The name doesn't bother me as much as the giant progressive logo that will be placed on top of the giant Indians script on the scoreboard. end rant. now for sale.

A commissioned piece for Hard Rock Cafe. The client said they were "on the money" but I have no official word if they were accepted. We got paid per submittal on it. This was for a theme called "Rocklimation" which a bunch of trendy keywords were written as the design brief such as "skulls, heraldry, paper clips, crowns, etc" And they referenced artists such as Sid Vicious and Blondie for part of the vibe.
