Memento Mori is a Latin phrase meaning "Remember you will die". I try to remind myself of this every morning as I start a new day. This design was inspired by old tattoo designs, Edgar Allan Poe, Victorian botanical illustrations and my still-life drawing classes when I attended art college. illustrated in pencil crayon, coloured in photoshop.
